Over at Lofty Spaces (816 Montgomery Street), meanwhile, the Texas Food Fest – DFW on Labor Day itself (September 5th) will make a knockout destination for foodies and epicureans, what with some of the Lone Star State’s finest chefs and caterers showing up to strut their stuff for the occasion.

The Dallas Arboretum & Botanical Garden (855 Garland Road) will also be buzzing and bopping over Labor Day Weekend with a slew of activities and happenings, including live music, the kid-friendly fun of Kelley Family Days and the Children’s Adventure Garden, the Window to the Wild live-bird show, and a heck of a lot more.
