Fall Festivals & Events in the Dallas-Fort Worth Area

This much-loved event, watched over (naturally) by the 55-foot Big Tex, comes stuffed to the gills with all-ages attractions, not least amusement rides, fair grub, rodeo action, and live music spread across three whole stages.
Other State Fair enticements include Dinosaurs at the Lagoon, the Texas Auto Show, the nightly Starlight Parade (complete with Budsweiser Clydesdales!), magic shows, a Day of the Dead celebration, and the State Fair Classic and Allstate Red River Showdown college football held at the Cotton Bowl.
