Day-tripping to Farms & Orchards During a Stay at Hotel Crescent Court

You’ve got many farms, orchards, and ranches open to the public to explore while calling Hotel Crescent Court your Uptown Dallas home away from home. Too many to do justice to here, in fact, but we can spotlight just a few examples.

Take Blase Family Farm (1232 E. Fork Drive, Rockwell, TX), for example, seasonally offering both U-pick blueberries and a bountiful pumpkin patch. The latter comes accentuated by a petting zoo, hayrides, a maze, and a “Spookly the Square Pumpkin” hike through the woods—tailor-made for Halloween-time family fun!

Then there’s Lavender Ridge Farms (2391 County Road 178, Gainesville, TX) with its lavender fields (and its charming adopted or rescued farm critters); Larken Farms (3653 Greathouse Road, Waxahatchie, TX) with its 7,000-plus peaches, plums, and other trees, not to mention blackberries and garden-fresh veggies; and Ham Orchards (11939 County Road 309, Terrell, TX), host to a fine peach orchard as well as U-pick blackberry patches.

Again, these are only a select few examples of the farms and orchards you can swing by as a guest here at Hotel Crescent Court. But they’re certainly representative of the high quality and variety of agricultural (and agritourism) operations in our greater region!
