A less scare-you-out-of-your-socks, but still unnerving, experience awaits on Dallas Terror’s Walking Ghost Tour, which also doubles as a fascinating D-Town history lesson: learning about everyone from Quanah Parker, the great Comanche leader, and Bonnie and Clyde to the Dallas Eyeball Killer and the Goat Man.

Over at the Fort Worth Zoo, meanwhile, there’s the crowd-pleasing and family-friendly Boo at the Zoo soiree going on October 29th and 30th, with lots of live entertainment—critter shows very much included—and various holiday activities on offer.
